Pizza Makes Everything Better.
Bernie Ambrose, the original owner of Bernie’s Pizza, started slinging his signature thin-crust, brick-oven pizzas in the 1950s. At one point he had 3 locations; Dallas, Harvey’s Lake, and Luzerne. Eventually the other locations closed but Dallas has remained a staple in the Back Mountain since then. Although Bernie’s has moved twice since then and now has a new owner (Jill Marchakitus), they have settled into their new location quite nicely. The recipe has stayed the same all these years and they still have the original ovens! Pop in for a visit!

I've tried a variety of their pizzas. I've never been disappointed. They're always tasty and consistent. The staff is very friendly. This place is take out only and has a charming waiting area.
